How Was It For You?

29 Jul 2011310
Simply by the numbers U2 360° is the most successful concert tour of all time.  Over two years and two months, the band have played to more than 7million fans in 30 countries on 5 continents.

Since opening night in June 2009, the U2 360° spaceship  has taken off at 110 shows. The set list at the beginning  is unrecognisable from a set list two years later.

But it's not about the numbers - it's about the moment. The moment of surrender.

So how was it for you?
The best show you went to?
The track that captures the spirit of U2360?
The visual or staging feature that took your breath away?
The memories of a rock'n'roll tour that you'll never forget...

360 Tour: the best moments of my year. Incredible set list. Creepy In front of the stage, seeing and hearing the best band in the world. U2 is part of my life for 33 years and will be forever. I never forget 2006 and 2011, Morumbi Stadium. Thanks guys! Life with U2 is most beautiful and joyful. =)

Full Moon over Scott Stadium
I went to four venues for this concert and Scott Stadium in Charlotte, VA stands above them all. Especially when the band played "Moment of Surrender" and the crowd new and sung all of the lyrics along with them. They seemed stunned and the hairs on my neck still stand up thinking back to their thanks to the audience for coming to see them perform and for giving them the life they have. That thanks was part of each concert but at Scott Stadium it was electric and magical.

Croke Park Dublin
It was amazing!!! It started with the queue outside croke park, were we met fans from all over the WORLD. We had travelled to dublin from the metropolis of Killarney. We were priviliged to be with in touching distance of the greatest band in the world. The stage was amazing, the music as usual was exceptional and the pride as an Irish/kerry person was overwhelming at times. The boys were back in town and they rocked it. Thanks for more great memories!

LONDON
Wembley Stadium has poor acoustics and on night 1 U2 played too much from the new album. It was a disappointment. The next night the set list altered and was altogether a better night. The echo in Wembley Stadium though made me wish for smaller venues again. But what can U2 do? The world and his goldfish on a bicycle wants to see the circus. Every tour could be "the last" and every album could be "the last".... There is no doubt U2 entertain. By the end of the 360 tour they had cracked it. The tunes were more a blend of old and new and some new tunes were beginning to creep in. So 360 was not Zoo TV but it was impressive.

Athens and Winnipeg
I saw seven shows on the U2360Tour, and enjoyed all of them. Although I always love seeing U2 in Dublin and believe it is the best place to see them, my favourite shows were in Athens and Winnipeg as we made it to first row. Once you go first row you never go back LOL My most memorable moments were when they played Ultra Violet in Athens. Such an amazing song that was actually not one of my favourites till that moment. The Greeks are mad, and the Olympic Stadium was beautiful. That night the Greek Gods were invaded by Irish Gods :) Winnipeg was special as well because the Canadians are such lovely people, and the atmosphere was great - plus I had a unique Bono moment. Will never forget. Every tour leaves such a big empty hole. Can't wait for the next tour. Miss you so much, guys!

What a Difference a Year Makes
I saw them on this tour in vancouver at BC Place. It was such a disappointing concert: the sound was as good as it could be for BC Place and the band looked flat. I think they had been battling the flu. I also wasn't thrilled with my $250 seats.... lot of money for crappy seats. I went to Edmonton in June this year to catch them again...... on the floor. OMG- what a difference a year makes! They rocked all evening and played everything I wanted to hear. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Thanks for giving me the show I wanted and needed to experience. See you next tour!! :-)

First show in Barcelona and Sevilla
It was amazing when I saw U2 with one of my best friends in the first show of this tour in June 2009 in Bacelona. The stage was incredible and the fact that I didn't known the order and which songs were be played. I remeber In a little while as a great surprise, Angel of harlem, Pride, Streets...... It was unforgettable. Seville was great too. People was very hot and it was a great show. North Star (An Acoustic Version) was a great surprise and the whole concert was powerfull. When people sang at the end of With or without you was simple beautifull and at the end, all people clap in flamenco way, so it was wonderfull. I hope we have U2 for a long time and every 3 or 4 years we can see another new show, because I love it.

Not as good as the HV Vineyards
Hey Boys, Syd-en-ney in 2010 was terrific (again), but how good would you be in the vineyards. I've just secured GA tickets to Cold Chisel at Bimbadgen in November. How good will this be - come on by and we'll show you. Tickets sold out in 8 minutes - impressive even by U2 standards. Don't wait until you're as old as Fleetwood Mac, or Burt B, or Neil D (all recent visitors to concerts under the stars in the vineyards, and all great). Get on down and do it in the open (just give me warning so I can get tickets). You won't regret it. Sometimes you can't make it on your own ...

Brussels, Amazing!
The Brussels shows were the most magical shows i've ever seen, the atmosphere was so great, an amazing audience, and an amazing U2. I'll never forget it! The first night, With Or Without You, the audience kept singing, and the band was so amazed! The honest look on Bono's face was emotional, he couldn't finish his speech. The second night we had Bad, Bad is one of my all-time favourite song. So touching! The best 2 nights of my life! Today a year ago! Thanks U2 for the great moments you have given us!

360 Sydney - 2nd Concert, December 2010
Been to five U2 Concerts in total and the best would have to be the second concert 360 in Sydney last year. Unreal! Even Bono said it was better then the night before and Oprah was there! And even Adam took his shirt off! lol!

The tour down under in Melbourne at Etihad Stadium was the best I had seen. I went to both shows and clearly my standout track "Streets' but was really excited when they ripped into 'Bad'. I will never forget the atmosphere on both nights. U2 are the best.

São Paulo - Brazil - April 10, 2011
The second show in São Paulo was amazing. I could feel the joy of the band playing, their energy could be felt anywhere. It was a special show for them too, don\'t ask me why but I could sense it. I have no doubt to say it was the best concert in Brazil whatsoever. \"Out of Control\" was the best surprise and moment, specially when Bono said: \"For special occasions, our first single\". And it was just the second song. The entire show was one of a kind. So many beautiful and meaningful songs, an unforgettable setlist and a night to remember.

I was supremely lucky to see three shows on the European 2010 leg, San Sebastian, Seville, and Rome. Tough choices but my fave show was definately Seville, hearing MLK, Ultraviolet and Mercy, constant goosebumps! I was bouncing like an idiot against the rails infront of Adam for the evening, and i even got a smile! The coreography in Rome with the flags was fantastically done too! Can\'t wait to see you again! Don\'t keep us waiting too long please?!?!
