How Was It For You?

29 Jul 2011310
Simply by the numbers U2 360° is the most successful concert tour of all time.  Over two years and two months, the band have played to more than 7million fans in 30 countries on 5 continents.

Since opening night in June 2009, the U2 360° spaceship  has taken off at 110 shows. The set list at the beginning  is unrecognisable from a set list two years later.

But it's not about the numbers - it's about the moment. The moment of surrender.

So how was it for you?
The best show you went to?
The track that captures the spirit of U2360?
The visual or staging feature that took your breath away?
The memories of a rock'n'roll tour that you'll never forget...

From the International Space Station
I saw the show in Seattle 2011 and was impressed to see and hear Mark Kelly introduce Beautiful Day to say the least, but even more so when he spoke the words to the bridge in the middle of the song. How appropo to see so much from space. Well done!!

nothing like home :)
been to 18 shows of this Tour (Bracelona1, dublinx3, Gothneborgx2, Zagrebx2, NJx2, Frankfurt, Hanover, Helsinkix2, Moscow, Roma, Denver and SLC) each of them gave something to remember I remember the joy the first time I saw the Claw, I remember the joy of seeing once again the band playing in Dublin, I perfectly remeber how much I was scared in Moscow, I loved the setlist in Nj for the second show and when Bono pointed at my sign. But nothing compared to have them in my hometown, Roma, on Oct. 8th 2010 Thank you guys for been here

Thank you, U2!
Denver 2011 was awesome! I’m so glad I finally got to see my favorite band in concert. I had been dreaming of that night for about 8 years and it was just wonderful. They played my favorite song, “Until the End of the World.” “City of Blinding Lights,” “Where the Streets Have No Name,” and “With or Without You” were also special for me. And I can’t describe the feeling I got when I was walking to the stadium, seeing all those U2 fans coming together. It was crazy-awesome. You guys can bring people together more than any other band I know. Thank you thank you THANK YOU for such a beautiful show and a wonderful tour. Now get some rest; y’all deserve it! I hope I can see you again sometime in the future. Maybe I’ll get to meet you the next time around…that’s one of my dreams : ) Viva U2!

Magnificent Rose Bowl Concert!
I attended the Rose Bowl concert in Pasadena in October 2009 with my wife. We had a great time. U2 was in top form - especially given the worldwide audience watching on YouTube that night. A spectacular performance. "Magnificent" was just that and more. What time is it in the world? Showtime!

Torontos Three Wonders
Skydome the largest retractable dome in the world, Cn tower tallest free standing tower in the world, and U2s spaceship the biggest rock and roll show in the world. Add all three of these together and you have by far the best setting for the biggest band in the world to play in. Put 62,000 diehard U2 fans in the mix of all these things and you have a night for the whole world to remember. It was perfect from the time the band introduced us to their real thing until they had their final moment of surrender. I wont forget that night that me my wife and are expected baby boy or girl experienced the greatest rock show in the world . Thanks Lads

Toronto 2011 Show should of been filmed
The July 3rd show blew everyone away including Bono who said "Do you treat all your rock-stars like this? The power of the cheers and screams of the fans just took the 360 to another whole new level. "Zooropa was a great highlight as along with Better Than The Real Thing" This was certainly a show that should of been filmed.
choppers69
thank you u2
I have been a fan of u2 since 1984 and been to every single tour since. 360 was the best, i went to wembley and sheffield shows, truly unforgettable. I also had the luck to see them at Glastonbury too, which was also amazing despite the very poor weather. Bono,Edge, Larry and Adam and everyone who developed the 360 tour i thank you for these amazing nights

Five 360 shows later; so many standout m
Without a doubt, favourite moment was being in the inner circle for the Seattle show at Qwest Field. We camped out all day, and was more than worth it. Another moment was in Montreal right at the end of the first show, as a thunderstorm began right at the very last part of Moment of Surrender. Leading to Bono and The Edge to sing a little bit of The Beatles song Rain. Everyone was soaked but it was a truly unbelievable expierence. Favourite songs without question were, Zooropa, City of Blinding Lights, One, Moment of Surrender, Stay (Faraway, So Close). I think of all those though, City of Blinding Lights was my favouite moment, to see how the set came to life. Definetly a song that needs to stay in the setlist forever.

best moments
that will last forever: Larry singing in Oakland; VIP at Anaheim 1 - met great people; taking family, including mom, 81 to Anaheim 2, and the shake-up of moving One and Streets way up in the set list, Ultraviolet - that whole night was magic; One Tree Hill in Chicago - hot as hades, but, I got chills; Minneapolis - alcohol might not be allowed in the stadium, but there was something in the rain. so glad i made the quick trip. will never forget any of the people i met at the 5 shows over the last few weeks, but i must say - U2 fans are so generous to share their videos and stories and save places on crowded GA floor - it has made this 360 tour very special - thank you.

One Tree Hill! That was the moment for me and so glad I was there to witness it. The rain at the end of Streets was a sweet spot as well!

Thanks for highlights of our holiday!
Saw the show in Cardiff 2009 and decided on way home we had to see it again ( and again!). Loved magnificent plus all old favorites. Started planning trip to New York and made do with live stream and dvd from Rose Bowl to keep us going. Little did we realise it would be nearly 2years and a repeat trip to USA before fulfillment of our dreams. However an extra visit to Philadelphia more than compensated and boys was it worth the wait.... YES YES YES. Thanks boys for making our holiday so special. Hope to see you again soon. PS Spiderman was amazing too.

Greatness!!!!
Montreal on july 8th was a super show...the atmosphere from the 80,000 people was just incredible..from the point were the group came on to the point to where it started to rain heavy with hurricane winds was all worth it...i was standing right in front of the stage with some of my friends..it was one of the greatest moments of my life.i enjoyed all of the songs they played that night...the song that really captured the spirit of 360 was hold me thrill me kiss me kill me...songs like pride and still havent found were heavy with the crowd joining..it was all great and i cant wait to see them again in a few years...u2 can do another tour like this..

A global revival tent meeting.
I went to the 2009 Rose Bowl concert and the June 17, 2011 Anaheim shows and I can honestly say no live performance will ever rival these concerts. The 360 Tour engaged my mind, heart, memories and my senses. Thank you U2 and everyone who made this miracle possible.
