Edge Thanks for the skype update. Bono glad your on the road to recovery. Take it easy and recuperate from your surgery. Listen to your doctors and bandmates and do the 8 weeks of rehab. Enjoy spending a lot of quality time this summer with your family. Come back to Boston soon!

Thanks! It's great that you've taken the time to do this. My whole family was set to travel to Toronto to see you on July 3rd. We're disappointed, but that's OK... better for Bono to take it slow and recuperate properly so we can keep seeing you guys in concert. And Edge, similar to you, I spoke to Bono just after surgery, and he told me I could have his Fly glasses and one of your guitars! I'll be in touch shortly to collect! :-)

Thank you for the update. As much as I was looking forward to the Seattle date (my first U2 concert)I was more concerned about Bono and his injury. Thank goodness it seems to be turning out OK, it is so important to take of our "vessel" because if we don't, well you know the rest.. Take the time to recoup Bono - Your fans love you and want you to heal so that you can rock it and Get On Your Boots!

Thanks for giving us the update, Edge. I'm waiting on it to play but I wanted to say thank you while I wait. I have been praying for you guys and wanted to tell you that I do love you. I pray for you while you tour. I pray for your families while you tour and just for the safety of everyone. Edge, you have inspired me to learn piano. It inspired me when I first saw you play October. I took piano lessons and one of the songs I learned was October. My dream is to get a piano for my apartment. Could you pray for that? October has such a beautiful melody because of your playing. I have prayed for all of you with regards to Bono's injury. It's hard to see someone be injured. It's great Bono has been discharged from the hospital but, as Edge says, I wonder if he will respect the doctors orders : 8 weeks resting! he hasn't taken such a break "in decades". I really hope he will stay quiet (Bono quiet??:) to recover soon and be fit as before. If he doesn't keep calm, just chain him. That's the best solution:)!and keep an eye on him!

Please take the time to recuperate properly. Your fans will wait :-). I was in an accident 11 years ago (broken pelvis, broken sacral, secondary blunt trauma to the head) and because I stuck with the orthopedic surgeon’s orders, I am in better physical condition than most people who simply threw out their backs from lifting incorrectly. Take it easy and let your body heal. Our family wishes you a smooth, full recovery! We’re looking forward to seeing the 360 Tour in 2011!
