'We got U2 ladies and gentlemen...'

The band and Jimmy Fallon put on disguises to give a surprise performance in NYC's 42nd St. subway station. Here's what went down.

Remark on PUT DOWN THE PHONES
You make an excellent point here. Truly experiencing a moment and making a video to show your friends can be mutually exclusive.

Why don't they do this in Amsterdam!

Awesome and Hysterical!!
Bono/The Edges' voice and their sound is unmistakable. I would've jumped when I heard them. Awesome subway performance!! Larry even plays the buckets like nobody's business! Looking forward to seeing the show in NYC in June.

Great as ever...but PUT DOWN THE PHONES
Absolutely top quality from U2 (as always). Adam looked like an extra from the grateful dead. Only disappointing thing is that the crowds first reaction was to whip out their phones. Even when Bono was singing in the ladies face, looking for a connection, she didn't look him in the eye, just pulled a miley cyrus pose....the days of living in the moment are over.

Always great!
Thanks to Jimmy Fallon.....it's really Amazing and I really want that drum machine...... GO Larry!!!

Funny as hell
This was possibly the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Bono was doing a pretty good job of pretending to be himself, but poor ol' Edge just couldn't make his guitar sound cruddy enough

Choice Disguises
Looking at the photo, I see great disguises all around. Larry's pose in the New York hoodie actually makes me laugh out loud.

Golden!
Thanks, guys and Jimmy, for the laughs and the love. You guys spread joy and peace wherever you go! Still smiling. Keep fighting the good fight, brothers! Fight on this week in hope! "He set my feet upon a rock..."

Underground in London?
You guys seem to be able to play both types of music, Country & Western! Please give us Londoner's a shout in the Autumn, I still remember those chords from 1988, Dee.... Aye.... Eee, Dee Aye Eee! Belated Happy Birthday Bonovox.

Love it!
Could you perhaps do a 50 state busking tour too? LOL! Great example of how their is always hidden gems and talent in our midst. When we stop looking down at our devices and start looking out at people, it's amazing what you sometimes find!

All Kinds of Fun
I saw this on my Yahoo Email News. It was great fun watching it. This is an example of the fun things you can do as celebrities. Enjoy the fruits of your labors, Adam, Bono, Larry, and Edge! It looks like Jimmy finally got together with you after all; I'm glad Bono looks 100%. Wondering when the people at the station would figure it out was the best part. I wish I had been there for that!
