That was one mother of a concert! Fantastic night in Seville. As Bono said at the the end; "It was great, great night!". The Sevillano audience helped too, they were magnicent.
I was in the Red Zone 2 with my wife Mo ( a local girl from Seville!), who was also celebrating her birthday - just like Bono´s brother Norman! Met a few lads from Dublin,we had a mighty craic - even though I´m from Cork! Locals were equally brilliant.
The set list too was fabulous - a real good mix of old and new. For some reason, this concert was better than the one we saw in Dublin´s Croke Park last year - we saw the second show that Saturday night.
Only down side, well nothing is perfect,I felt the show was a bit short. 2 hours to the dot with two encores thrown in - should be more as we the fans do make a huge effort to see U2.
Anyway, thanks U2 and gracias Sevilla for a wonderful night overall. ¡Hasta Pronto! Here´s hoping anyway!!!

After we joined the Barcelona openingsnight we travelled via Amsterdam and Brussels to Seville.
What a city, what a night, what an audience and what a fantastic show!!

Incredible night in Sevilla yesterday!!!! 25 years of U2 live show and never seen a concert like that. Great spanish people....... will be difficult make better next week in Rome!

Dear Bono and band,
Visiting Seville from NY with my beautiful wife Lisa to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary (not too far behind you and Allie) and to see your show tomorrow night. We will be sitting in the Red Zone. We're huge fans - have seen many shows at MSG, Meadowlands, old JFK and more recently with Gavin Friday at Carnegie Hall and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert in NY with Mick Jagger and Bruce. One of my highlights was taking my 3 children (Brendan, Madeline and Colin) to their first U2 show last summer in NJ - they loved it. Anyway, I know you get a zillion crazy requests but if you have a moment please wish my irish bride Lisa and soulmate a Happy Anniversary from Andrew. Also, would be amazing to hear Bad tomorrow night. Thanks!

28 September, 2010 Play "40" in seville - Why?
I´ve seen you since time began, well almost anyway, in various parts of the globe over the years. I´m from Joe´s part of the world - the real capital, Cork! Yes, I remember those days in "The Arcadia" - long time ago!! Anyway, now live in Seville since Jan. 2002. My Babe, who´s from here will be 40! Hence the reason to play "40". From Scotland, Irish Wife, 3 year old daughter born in Spain. Living in Spain for 5 years now, been to many U2 concerts throughout the years, only in Scotland though - Hampden Park, Celtic Park, Murryfield. This is my first U2 concert away from my homeland - Can't wait for Thursday night in Sevilla, and to see the look on my wee daughters face when the boys blast in!!!!

my first time was 1992. i was invited a concert in the US to listen some group called U2..ur Achtung baby cd was turning around my host home ..so, i listened a couple of songs and i said its alright..but when i got the Madison NY and i saw that ZooTv.. i thought wtf is all this...that Outside Broadcast changed all my music world!! after that Madrid, Barcelona (x3) and next 30th seville.. my hometown.. many thanks, many thanks..

Please guys! I´ve seen you twice in Dublin, your hometown and now my hometown for the last 2years.
I´m coming to Seville where my Dad was born (I´m Spanish) to close my small circle with you. I´ve been reading U2 by U2 for the whole summer and I feel like I got to know you all.
I´m very surprised with the way of being you all are but specially Larry and Adam as normally you don´t appear that much on media.
Please sing Pride (in the name of love) and dedicate it to people from Dublin, Seville, and Benidorm!!!!!!!

thank you guys, for coming to my hometown, Seville. I remember, some years ago was unbeliave the fact of thinking on the possibility of U2 coming here, in two weeks that will be true. I know is complicated, but I'd like to hear songs like the fly, last night on earth, trying to throw your arms around the world, love comes tumbling, zoo station, numb..... see you in two weeks!!

Since, I will also be at Coimbra for both concerts (2nd and 3rd of October), I was wondering if I could take a train to Sevilha, and then, if you guys could give me a ride home, since you are coming this way. My name is Adrianne, and I am an original fan. The 360 tour will be my 7th tour, and my boys never disappoint. With my daughter recently off to college I have embraced the "empty nester" stage of my life as a mother and decided to fly off to follow your 360 tour. I can't express my excitement for your upcoming concerts in Spain and Portugal, for which my tickets have been purchased and my bags have been packed for weeks. What would make this adventure over the top on my list of unforgettable moments would be if you could honor your original fans, one of us "cougars" by singing to us on stage. Let me be first to volunteer myself! I don't know if I would be able to contain the thrill it would bring to me. I can only say that it would truly be the "sweetest thing." If you cannot find me in line in Spain or Portugal I will also be at your concerts in Denver and Utah. So Bono, please take care of your back so we won't have to miss each other and i can give you a BIG KISS!

So glad U2 are coming to my town...
Foreigners coming to Seville to see the concert, just some tips:
- Go to the Stadium On Your Boots! It will be the best way. Public transports in Seville are a mere joke, traffic will collapse -roads are so bad in here... Try to get either to bridge "Barqueta" or "Alamillo", from there cross the river. From there Stadium is 20-30 min walking.
- Seville is a safe town, you could walk around nigh & day
- Advisable to know some basic Spanish. Do not expect English-speaking add nor directions from people.
- Try to be patient. This is the city of "Tomorrow will be done... " (mañana)

10 September, 2010 In a little while...
This will be my 12th time seeing the lads (my first was on the 22nd December, 1982 @ the SFX, Dublin...ouch!) However, I've never seen U2 outside of Ireland so I can't wait!!! I believe the stadium is a bit of a nightmare to get to with little or no public transport available from the city centre. Is this true & should I be getting on my (walking) boots?!?

Holla U2!, spain 2010 will be my 7th tour. enchanting seville is my 4th 360 tour show! portugal will be #5, denver #6,utah#7. count down for lift off from santa barbara,ca destination europe to see my boys paired with my love for history, i have goose bumps. i can not wait to spend the nite with my beautiful tenor and his electrifying mates.

I love U2 - No.1 band for me. But..... I bought a ticket for Seville show last year in Oct 2009 and was so excited to visit Spain for 2 weeks in Sep 2010. I am living in Sydney (Australia), I will travel through the globe, I have paid for my air ticket, all accommodation in Spain, train tickets etc. I will be in Seville 28 & 29 Sep and I am leaving for Marocco on 30 Sept. Unfortunatelly I can not be in Seville on 30/09,so I will not see U2 there due to general strike; it is not possible for me to re-organize hotels without penalties. I had to cancel my ticket for a show. It is very dissapointing, as I have seen U2 5 times in my life and wanted more...
Why people need general strike in Spain? On other side I am lucky that U2 are coming to Sydney. I cannot wait. Cheers
