As showtime began, all four members of the band arrived on stage at the same time, picking up their instruments and hitting the ground running by bursting into Magnificent, which took everyone by surprise.
The energy of the band was matched by the energy coming back at them from the Boston audience and you barely noticed as they went straight into No Line On The Horizon.

Your Blue Room returned but this time after Elevation and then leading straight into Beautiful Day.

Moment of Surrender Tonight if you thought you knew the 360° show think again as the band shock up the beginning of the show. For the second show in Foxboro, they kicked off the show with Magnificent.

As showtime began, all four members of the band arrived on stage at the same time, picking up their instruments and hitting the ground running by bursting into a full version of Magnificent.
The audience joined them in the energy and by the end of the song the band and crowd hit the ground running moving straight into No Line On The Horizon.

Your Blue Room returned again but taking off after Elevation and landing straight into a Beautiful Day.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From Magnificent to MOS, the show did not disappoint! The band came out in top form aiming to please and didn't stop until the show was over. As always, they left us wanting more. Thanks again U2!

From Church to Rock n' Roll
Saw both shows...Sunday night Bono was in full on church mode. Best service they've performed yet in the 30 years I've been at their shows. The structure and the video show was great to watch from the 50 yard line lower level. Monday's show Bono was in full on rock n' roll mode and very playful, as was the crowd. From the 25 yard line the structure lost it's value...but the video show was still fantastic expecially when they played Stay! I loved being at 2 different shows one right after the other. Leave it to U2 never to disappoint. Great to share the best band in the world with new friends. Agape

I Went Crazy Last Night
Thank you to U2 and their whole crew for an amazing night at Gillette Stadium!! The crowd was pumped, Snow Patrol was "wicked awesome", and those Irish boys know how to rock 65,000 people to their feet! The remix version of I'll Go Crazy, sandwiched in between City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo and Sunday Bloody Sunday, sent the energy level in Foxboro up to the stratosphere. Loved it, Loved it, Loved it.

Better than the first night!
I enjoyed Sunday's show but this one was awesome. There was a new energy for the second show, which showed with Bono and with the crowd. Loved the changes in the setlist. Great sample of King of Pain and the end of Beautiful Day. However, I seemed to be in the minority who didn't enjoy the Crazy remix. Snow Patrol was very good, continuing U2's success with opening acts.

strange set list change?
To be honest I thought the Breathe opener was more powerful. Larrys tribal drum beat with Edges wailing feedback faded in with the volume control on his guitar was so simple and powerful. Sorry that this song has been dropped lets see it back again in Vancouver please. Other than that what an amazing show. Good work boys.

Better Every Time!
We were at both Foxboro shows, and what can we say...U2 always out-does themselves! Each tour we say..."That was the best show EVER!" and then at the next show, we eat our words!!! Keep 'em coming boys! Can't wait to see you again!

Saturday night on Monday night
Probably the best U2 show i have seen. Our kids said " it was like being in a really cool x-box game". Choosing to change the opening number was a good move, the crowd didn't expect it and the show went "up" from there - Simply Brilliant!

amazing grace
The set list leaves out the "Amazing Grace" solo. Not sure Bono expected a sing-along for that, but it made him laugh.

AMAZING
NEVER a disappointment. We saw them both nights, didn't think it could get any better, but the second night was even more phenomenal than the first! Being in the Red Zone was an experience like none other. Glad Boston showed the love and appreciation a little better last night too!

contrived
A little too much in the way of structural engineering and lighting, and not enough of the 'music' getting through. Lost touch with the fans maybe?

Strong, emotional performance
Went to both Gillette Stadium performances and Monday night was by far the best!! Loved "Magnificent" opening. The strength and range had returned to Bono's voice, and all the guys were really into it! I love the architecture of the stage but really do prefer U2 at smaller venues. (Even though I had great tickets, I felt the band were sooooo far away.) "Stay" and the "Go Crazy" remix were highlights! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

OMG what a show
I have to say that this tour has to be the best have ever seen. I have been a fan since the early 80's, U2 was the first band I ever saw in concert and I have seen just about every tour since the War tour and they seem to just get better as the years go past.

Outstanding Performance
It's been a while since I've seen them live (Worcester, May 87), but they are still the best band you could ever see live. The stage was tremendous and the lighting and effects were unlike any other. I sat in the club level where the view was amazing and the sound was awesome. The span of music they played fit well together, sounding like a single album. Boston is lucky to hold such a special place in their hearts. They remain my favorite band both musically and socially.

Magnificent in Boston
Went to both shows The 2 best concerts I have ever seen I loved that they change the set up a little for the 2nd show I hope this is not the last time I will get to see them And if it is at least I can say I saw THE GREATEST BAND EVER

Magnificent
Wow, just amazing. How do they keep turning on this kind of energy after 33 years? The set was breathtaking - did anyone notice the pods of camera people tucked up under the legs of the "spaceship"? I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes to make a show like this possible. Thank you U2 and everyone involved for the magnificent evening!
KEEP US GUESSING
ALTHOUGH THE BOYS ARE PLAYING TO A CROWD IN FRONT OF THEM, THEY ARE ALSO PLAYING TO THOUSANDS WHO FOLLOW VIA THE INTERNET, DESPERATELY WATCHING FOR WHAT THEY DO NEXT, I AM ONE! ITS NOT A SITUATION I WOULD LIKE TO BE IN BECAUSE EVERY ONE IS WAITING FOR SOMETHING BRILLIANT & SOMETHING FRESH, THE EXPECTATION IS HIGH. BUT THE BOYS DO NOT DISAPPOINT, THEY LEAVE US HANGING, BUILDING THE SUSPENSE AND WHEN THE CHANGE DOES OCCUR, IT IS ETHERAL. MAGNIFICENT AS AN OPENER, NICE TOUCH, NEVER SIT TOO COMFORTABLLY U2, ITS WHAT MAKES YOU BRILLIANT
