It may seem hard to believe, but I was 10 years old when I went to this U2 show, my first of many U2 concerts. (However, it wasn't my first concert. That was Stray Cats when I was 6 years old.) Anyways, when I heard they were in concert, my mom bought the tickets from a scalper. She paid $100 each. In today's market, it would have equalled $1000 a ticket. She took me to the show. It was the best time she ever had. I, of course, loved the show. We have gone to a total of 4 U2 shows together, 5 in total for me. It's been 30 years since that first show of ours, so I surprised my mom by buying tickets to go see U2 at MSG. We'll be seeing them on July 31st. Love ya mom! And thanks for being my concert buddy. Talk about innocence & experience.
