Early 1983 & I was 16 and had been a U2 fan for a couple of years. The gig was amazing - less than 1000 people there and you were uplifted and taken to another place(real U2 fans understand what I mean). It was the 1st and only time they played Aberdeen - but totally unforgetable. Since then I've followed them with a passion across the UK and Europe. A once in a lifetime band. As the song goes "I will follow"(always)
