This gig was one of the few times were you all were the opening act for The J. Geils Band's Freeze Frame tour. I was twelve years old at the time and I still remember this night at The University of Tennessee's Alumni Gym very well. Bono was so much younger back then. At the time, I didn't think you all would go on to have the success that you've had, but I guess I was wrong. You all have now surpassed The J. Geils Band. This gig happened on the same night that Rod Stewart just happened to be playing the Knoxville Civic Coliseum across town and more people went to this gig then Rod Stewart's. Great show overall.
