I was 19 when I wented to see you on this date. I first heard about u2 throught my younger brother Blasie who was listing to them on the dave fanning show and I heard I will follow and 11oclock tick tock and I was hooked and then he came and asked me to come to the gig with him as that was the only way that mum would let him go. We went to this gig and I have not stopped going since and even got a few VIP tickets for Paul McGunnis as he got used to my face along wtih my friend Cathy Wilson

New Years Day....
I was 17 too, a friend of mine worked at The Royal Court so I got to see U2 sound check, I sat on the floor in the Royal Court and watched them perform new years day...fantastic memory. I went back that evening and was lucky enough to be in one of the 'royal boxes' at the side of the stage...Bono climbed a bank of speakers and sang to my friend and I...wish I had taken a camera!
