U2 in Berlin to Shoot New Video

3 Aug 2001
U2 were in Berlin earlier this week to shoot a new video for "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of", which has just been released to radio in the US.

The band were re-united with director Joseph Khan, following the popular and critical acclaim for his work on the "Elevation (Tomb Raider)" video. Last week the "Elevation" video was nominated for four prestigous MTV Video Music Awards.

The storyline for the new video features the band sitting in a stadium watching an American football game - along with hundreds of extra's who were involved in the filming. The band took advantage of a day off to shoot the new video, following the show in Berlin's Waldbuhne and before the first Dutch show at Arnhem.

The last time U2 chose Berlin as a video location was in 1993 when film-maker Wim Wenders directed the "Stay (Faraway, So Close!)" video. The band also recorded most of their Grammy-winning album "Achtung Baby" at Hansa Studios, Berlin in 1991.

It's not yet known when the "Stuck In A Moment You Can't get Out Of" video will be released but we'll keep you posted.
