Dear Grummo, maybe you attended many more concerts than me, but I think you missed the fact that U22 is the result of a vote open to everyone. As far as I can remember, there were 40 tracks among which fans could select the best ones. I'm not an epert of sound quality, but let me tell you and everyone here that this selection brought me smiles in sad days, projecting my minds back to the three U2 360° concerts in Italy. Do not forget to download the bonus track: my favourite!

Playing it loud in Sydney , and it sounds just as good as i knew it would ................. shame crazy tonight remix is not on it , it was a big part of 360 . maybe we will all be treated to a download of the songs that didnt make th CD .......... hope so

Awesome. It's like I'm attending a hole new concert, because the songs are so well produced, it's songs that wasn't on the concert I attended, it's songchoices that has got something special to it, it simply awesome - this is from an old fart who has been with U2 since 1980.

Mine's arrived in the UK. Beautiful booklet, looks like U2 have made a real effort. The major downside for me is the standard of the prouction on the music itself. The sound is seriously over produced. I have a high quality sound system and so much space has been injected into the production that this now sounds very unlike a U2 concert. I've been going to U2 concerts since 1983 and have been so many times I've lost count. The 1993 Dublin gig that was braodcast over the radio sounds so vastly superior. Also, there are only 2 tracks from No Line on this. Have U2 now become a 'greatest hits' band? Where are Breathe and Boots? I know U2 believe they made a great album and I agree. In summary, a fabulous idea beautifully presented. However, the production is frankly devoid of gravitas and the track selection has made the band look like a 'greatest hits tribute act' rather than the cutting edge, boundary pushers that they are. Really really disappointing.....

Still waiting (patiently) in UK for U22 - hope it arrives soon :)

I am in Holland as well but haven't seen anything yet. :) I emailed u2.com and i didnt get any date as to when it should arrive, just that it gets send in a first payed first send order. People are complaining that "Crazy" didn't make it. I think the reason that "Crazy" didn't make the cut is that there is a live version of that on the last fan release "Duals". There are a few songs I would have liked to hear on this but I'm really happy with the collection, especially the versions of 'Zooropa', 'All I Want is You/Love Rescue Me', and 'Still Haven't Found'. Also really pleased with the bonus track 'Unknown Caller', thanks U2.

I just about wet my pants when my Retro album shaped package arrived. I expect only the best from U2 but after 31 years they never stop sweeping me off my feet.
