We've got the lowdown on the video download which comes with the new U2 iPod.

Word is that there's some very cool footage in the 30-minute video download which is free to fans buying the new U2 iPod.

The download features a stunning live version of I Will Follow recorded for a BBC show at Queen's University Belfast way back in 1981. If you weren't around then, this captures the era and this wil remind you how it sounded.

There's also a very collectable version of God Part II from the Lovetown Tour in 1989.

In fact the set features the band performing in three different decades on six different tours. ZOO TV is in the mix, with a live version of Until the End of the World recorded in Sydney in 1993, and PopMart also features, a sizzling cut of Mofo from Mexico City in 1997.

The most recent footage includes City of Blinding Lights shot by Hamish Hamilton in Milan last summer.

Wth eight live tracks in all, it's a pretty special addition to the collection if you're thinking of splashing out on the new U2 iPod. And once you've downloaded this thirty minutes of vintage performance, there's still room for another 74hours and thirty minutes of video. Oh, and 7,500 songs...
