U2 feature along with The Stones, the Flaming Lips, Primal Scream, Radiohead,the Strokes and forty four others in the UK's latest Q Magazine.

'2001's Elevation tour subverted the pomp and spectacle of previous U2 jaunts, leading to their most exciting shows yet. Still playing cattle-shed style arenas, they now arrived onstage with the house lights up, not dropping them until halfway into the opening number. The message was clear: Look, we can make this work even with the lights on.
'With a purpose-built walkway arcing out into the crowd, Bono was free to tease, cajole and flirt with his people.
'It's a love-fest,' he said. 'It's the gospel tent! It's the revival happening!'
Meanwhile the band ransacked their formidable back catalogue, imbuing songs from over 15 years ago with a renewed sense of vigour while making the material from their latest release sound as if it had been in their repertoire for ever....'
