Ash Join Bill For Slane II

Ash have been added to the line-up for U2's second open air show at Slane Castle this Saturday, September 1st.

The band are expected to perform after Nelly Furtado and before Moby.

They last supported U2 at their 1997 Popmart Tour date at Landsdowne Road in Dublin.

As widely reported, Foo Fighters have been forced to pull out of the sold-out show at the last minute.

Candy - the fourth single from Ash's platinum-selling album, Free All Angels - is out on September 24, and the band undertake a UK tour later this year.

December 3 - Bristol Rock
December 4 - Nottingham Rock City
December 5 - Birmingham Academy
December 7 - Leeds University Union
December 8 - Edinburgh Corn Exchange
December 9 - Manchester Apollo
December 11 - London Brixton Academy
December 16 and 17 - Dublin Olympia
December 19 - Belfast Ulster Hall
