'Africa, Africa Africa...'

9 Nov 2005
Download this podcast in which Bono talks to the editorial board of the San Francisco Chronicle about his work in the campaign to end extreme poverty in
Africa.

Bono spoke to an editorial board meeting of the San Francisco Chronicle earlier this week and the newspaper has just posted the first part of the lengthy conversation.

This extract stretches from Green Day (supporting the ONE Campaign) to American rice (why there is so much of it in Ghana), from getting anti-retroviral drugs to people living with HIV/AIDS to why Africans are more interested in trade than overseas aid.

The podcast lasts just over 15 minutes and the San Francisco Chronicle will be posting two more episodes later in the week. (Our thanks to them for
permission to use the podcast.)
