I'm Just glad you're okay! I want you to gain a full recovery and learn to take rests more often. That is just as important as work. Thank you edge for being so considerate in letting the fans know how hes doing. Make sure your mate does what the doctors say. I know him to be impatient as well. I really was bummed about the "postponement announcement ", but after listening to Edge, I actually am very optimistic about the show we will get to see in Chicago in 2011. thank you GET BETTER BONO!!!!

We were flying over last year from the Canary Islands (Tenerife) to Berlin and saw your magnificent show there! It was a 100% deja vu from the Zoo TV show I went to in Cologne x years earlier. He was sensible enough to get seen pronto, and just as well he did !I've had a back problem for the past 16 years, loads of pain management, physio etc etc, it really is the case that he must follow doctors order s.So true that he must be patient and not push himself too far, too fast.That is something you learn along the way after you have had a few set backs.This sounds like it has been coming for a while, and is age related.Sad but true ! The Friday you were having your operation Bono, I was having my first session of physio again for troubles with the sciatic nerve...weird!Anyway,take care and loads of love, work with it,and it may seem like forever, but you will get back to full mobility. Heck, I struggled to get to Wembley last year, but I was damn sure I wasn't going to miss you because of my stupid back ! Bono, had the same 'problem' as you on Christmas day and now I'm back to full strength. if I can give you 1 advice. Rest is the best treatement, so take a much deserved break and you'll be back on stage before you know. Sandra
